Aasaa, Fifth Mehl:

ਮਨੁ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤਾਨੋ ਮਿਟੇ ਜੰਜਾਲ ॥

man tripataano mitte janjaal |

My mind is satisfied, and my entanglements have been dissolved.

ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਅਪੁਨਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਕਿਰਪਾਲ ॥੧॥

prabh apunaa hoeaa kirapaal |1|

God has become merciful to me. ||1||

ਸੰਤ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਭਲੀ ਬਨੀ ॥

sant prasaad bhalee banee |

By the Grace of the Saints, everything has turned out well.

ਜਾ ਕੈ ਗ੍ਰਿਹਿ ਸਭੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਹੈ ਪੂਰਨੁ ਸੋ ਭੇਟਿਆ ਨਿਰਭੈ ਧਨੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

jaa kai grihi sabh kichh hai pooran so bhettiaa nirabhai dhanee |1| rahaau |

His House is overflowing with all things; I have met Him, the Fearless Master. ||1||Pause||

ਨਾਮੁ ਦ੍ਰਿੜਾਇਆ ਸਾਧ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਲ ॥

naam drirraaeaa saadh kripaal |

By the Kind Mercy of the Holy Saints, the Naam has been implanted within me.

ਮਿਟਿ ਗਈ ਭੂਖ ਮਹਾ ਬਿਕਰਾਲ ॥੨॥

mitt gee bhookh mahaa bikaraal |2|

The most dreadful desires have been eliminated. ||2||

ਠਾਕੁਰਿ ਅਪੁਨੈ ਕੀਨੀ ਦਾਤਿ ॥

tthaakur apunai keenee daat |

My Master has given me a gift;

ਜਲਨਿ ਬੁਝੀ ਮਨਿ ਹੋਈ ਸਾਂਤਿ ॥੩॥

jalan bujhee man hoee saant |3|

the fire has been extinguished, and my mind is now at peace. ||3||

ਮਿਟਿ ਗਈ ਭਾਲ ਮਨੁ ਸਹਜਿ ਸਮਾਨਾ ॥

mitt gee bhaal man sehaj samaanaa |

My search has ended, and my mind is absorbed in celestial bliss.

ਨਾਨਕ ਪਾਇਆ ਨਾਮ ਖਜਾਨਾ ॥੪॥੨੭॥੭੮॥

naanak paaeaa naam khajaanaa |4|27|78|

Nanak has obtained the treasure of the Naam, the Name of the Lord. ||4||27||78||
