ਕੁਦਰਤਿ ਇਕੁ ਕਵਾਉ ਥਾਪ ਉਥਾਪਦਾ ।

kudarat ik kavaau thaap uthaapadaa |

With one word (sound) the Lord creates the universe and destroyes it.

ਤਿਦੂ ਲਖ ਦਰੀਆਉ ਨ ਓੜਕੁ ਜਾਪਦਾ ।

tidoo lakh dareeaau na orrak jaapadaa |

From that very Lord myriads of life streams have emerged and there is no end to them.

ਲਖ ਬ੍ਰਹਮੰਡ ਸਮਾਉ ਨ ਲਹਰਿ ਵਿਆਪਦਾ ।

lakh brahamandd samaau na lehar viaapadaa |

Millions of universes subsume in Him but He is uninfluenced by any of them.

ਕਰਿ ਕਰਿ ਵੇਖੈ ਚਾਉ ਲਖ ਪਰਤਾਪਦਾ ।

kar kar vekhai chaau lakh parataapadaa |

He sees His own activities with great enthusiasm and makes many a man glorious

ਕਉਣੁ ਕਰੈ ਅਰਥਾਉ ਵਰ ਨ ਸਰਾਪ ਦਾ ।

kaun karai arathaau var na saraap daa |

Who can decode the mystery and meaning of the principle of His boons and curses?

ਲਹੈ ਨ ਪਛੋਤਾਉ ਪੁੰਨੁ ਨ ਪਾਪ ਦਾ ।੧੮।

lahai na pachhotaau pun na paap daa |18|

He accepts not only the (mental) repentance of sins and virtues (and accepts the good deeds).
