ਕਾਢੇ ਖੜਗ ਹਾਥ ਤੁਮ ਧੈਯਹੁ ॥

kaadte kharrag haath tum dhaiyahu |

ਦੌਰਤ ਨਿਕਟ ਸੁ ਯਾ ਕੇ ਜੈਯਹੁ ॥

dauarat nikatt su yaa ke jaiyahu |

(She asked the ascetic,) ‘Taking a naked sword in your hand you come in the house running,

ਤਾਹਿ ਸੁਨਾਇ ਬਚਨ ਇਮ ਭਾਖ︀ਯੋ ॥

taeh sunaae bachan im bhaakhayo |

(She asked the ascetic,) ‘Taking a naked sword in your hand you come in the house running,

ਮੋਰੋ ਚੋਰ ਚੋਰਿ ਇਨ ਰਾਖ︀ਯੋ ॥੫॥
