Saarang, Fifth Mehl:

ਅਬ ਮੇਰੋ ਪੰਚਾ ਤੇ ਸੰਗੁ ਤੂਟਾ ॥

ab mero panchaa te sang toottaa |

Now my association with the five thieves has come to an end.

ਦਰਸਨੁ ਦੇਖਿ ਭਏ ਮਨਿ ਆਨਦ ਗੁਰ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਤੇ ਛੂਟਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

darasan dekh bhe man aanad gur kirapaa te chhoottaa |1| rahaau |

Gazing upon the Blessed Vision of the Lord's Darshan, my mind is in ecstasy; by Guru's Grace, I am released. ||1||Pause||

ਬਿਖਮ ਥਾਨ ਬਹੁਤ ਬਹੁ ਧਰੀਆ ਅਨਿਕ ਰਾਖ ਸੂਰੂਟਾ ॥

bikham thaan bahut bahu dhareea anik raakh sooroottaa |

The impregnable place is guarded by countless ramparts and warriors.

ਬਿਖਮ ਗਾਰ੍ਹ ਕਰੁ ਪਹੁਚੈ ਨਾਹੀ ਸੰਤ ਸਾਨਥ ਭਏ ਲੂਟਾ ॥੧॥

bikham gaarh kar pahuchai naahee sant saanath bhe loottaa |1|

This impregnable fortress cannot be touched, but with the assistance of the Saints, I have entered and robbed it. ||1||

ਬਹੁਤੁ ਖਜਾਨੇ ਮੇਰੈ ਪਾਲੈ ਪਰਿਆ ਅਮੋਲ ਲਾਲ ਆਖੂਟਾ ॥

bahut khajaane merai paalai pariaa amol laal aakhoottaa |

I have found such a great treasure, a priceless, inexhaustible supply of jewels.

ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਧਾਰੀ ਤਉ ਮਨ ਮਹਿ ਹਰਿ ਰਸੁ ਘੂਟਾ ॥੨॥੯॥੩੨॥

jan naanak prabh kirapaa dhaaree tau man meh har ras ghoottaa |2|9|32|

O servant Nanak, when God showered His Mercy on me, my mind drank in the sublime essence of the Lord. ||2||9||32||
