ਜੌਨ ਸੁਨਾਰੋ ਘਾਤ ਲਗਾਵੈ ॥

jauan sunaaro ghaat lagaavai |

ਤਵਨੈ ਘਾਤ ਤ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਲਖਿ ਜਾਵੈ ॥

tavanai ghaat triyaa lakh jaavai |

As soon as the goldsmith tried to steal, the woman came to know of it.

ਏਕ ਉਪਾਇ ਚਲਨ ਨਹਿ ਦੇਈ ॥

ek upaae chalan neh deee |

ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਕੋ ਧਨ ਮਮ ਹਰ ਨਹਿ ਲੇਈ ॥੩॥

grih ko dhan mam har neh leee |3|

She would not let him play trick and he could not rob her wealth.(3)
