ਸਿਧ ਸਾਧਿਕ ਮਿਲਿ ਜਾਗਦੇ ਕਰਿ ਸਿਵਰਾਤੀ ਜਾਤੀ ਮੇਲਾ ।
sidh saadhik mil jaagade kar sivaraatee jaatee melaa |

ਮਹਾਦੇਉ ਅਉਧੂਤੁ ਹੈ ਕਵਲਾਸਣਿ ਆਸਣਿ ਰਸ ਕੇਲਾ ।
mahaadeo aaudhoot hai kavalaasan aasan ras kelaa |

ਗੋਰਖੁ ਜੋਗੀ ਜਾਗਦਾ ਗੁਰਿ ਮਾਛਿੰਦ੍ਰ ਧਰੀ ਸੁ ਧਰੇਲਾ ।
gorakh jogee jaagadaa gur maachhindr dharee su dharelaa |

ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਜਾਗਿ ਜਗਾਇਦਾ ਸਾਧਸੰਗਤਿ ਮਿਲਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਵੇਲਾ ।
satigur jaag jagaaeidaa saadhasangat mil amrit velaa |
The true Guru is awake and he in the holy congregation in ambrosial hours makes others also awake (from the sleep of infatuation).
ਨਿਜ ਘਰਿ ਤਾੜੀ ਲਾਈਅਨੁ ਅਨਹਦ ਸਬਦ ਪਿਰਮ ਰਸ ਖੇਲਾ ।

ਆਦਿ ਪੁਰਖ ਆਦੇਸੁ ਹੈ ਅਲਖ ਨਿਰੰਜਨ ਨੇਹੁ ਨਵੇਲਾ ।
aad purakh aades hai alakh niranjan nehu navelaa |
I salute the primal person, the Guru whose love and affection for the imperceptible Lord is ever fresh.
ਚੇਲੇ ਤੇ ਗੁਰੁ ਗੁਰੁ ਤੇ ਚੇਲਾ ।੧੭।
