ਬਹੁਰੌ ਕਹੀ ਪਠਾਨ ਸੌ ਇਮਿ ਗੁਲਾਮ ਤਿਨ ਬਾਤ ॥

bahurau kahee patthaan sau im gulaam tin baat |

One day the slave said to him like this,

ਮੈ ਇਹ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਡਾਇਨਿ ਸੁਨੀ ਕ︀ਯੋ ਯਾ ਕੇ ਤਟ ਜਾਤ ॥੪॥

mai ih triy ddaaein sunee kayo yaa ke tatt jaat |4|

‘I have heard that this woman is a witch, why do go near her?’(4)
