ਬਡੇ ਈ ਬਨੈਤ ਬੀਰ ਸਬੈ ਪਖਰੈਤ ਗਜ ਦਲ ਸੋ ਅਰੈਤ ਧਾਏ ਤੁਰੰਗਨ ਨਚਾਇ ਕੈ ॥

badde ee banait beer sabai pakharait gaj dal so arait dhaae turangan nachaae kai |

Wearing large-sized armour alongwith the elephants, the mighty warriors, causing their horses to dance, marched forward

ਜੁਧ ਮੈ ਅਡੋਲ ਸ੍ਵਾਮ ਕਾਰਜੀ ਅਮੋਲ ਅਤਿ ਗੋਲ ਤੇ ਨਿਕਸਿ ਲਰੇ ਦੁੰਦਭਿ ਬਜਾਇ ਕੈ ॥

judh mai addol svaam kaarajee amol at gol te nikas lare dundabh bajaae kai |

They stand firm in the battlefield and ofr the interest of their lords, they came out of their enclousers and playing on small drums,

ਸੈਥਨ ਸੰਭਾਰ ਕੈ ਨਿਕਾਰ ਕੈ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨ ਮਾਰ ਮਾਰ ਹੀ ਉਚਾਰਿ ਐਸੇ ਪਰੇ ਰਨਿ ਆਇ ਕੈ ॥

saithan sanbhaar kai nikaar kai kripaan maar maar hee uchaar aise pare ran aae kai |

They reached the battlefield, holding firmly their daggers and swords and shouting "kill, kill"

ਹਰਿ ਜੂ ਸੋ ਲਰੇ ਤੇ ਵੈ ਠਉਰ ਤੇ ਨ ਟਰੇ ਗਿਰ ਭੂਮਿ ਹੂੰ ਮੈ ਪਰੇ ਉਠਿ ਅਰੇ ਘਾਇ ਖਾਇ ਕੈ ॥੧੦੭੮॥
