ਜੀਉ ਪਾਇ ਤਨੁ ਸਾਜਿਆ ਮੁਹੁ ਅਖੀ ਨਕੁ ਕੰਨ ਸਵਾਰੇ ।

jeeo paae tan saajiaa muhu akhee nak kan savaare |

Creating the jiva (self) He made his body and gave good shape to his mouth, nose, eyes and ears.

ਹਥ ਪੈਰ ਦੇ ਦਾਤਿ ਕਰਿ ਸਬਦ ਸੁਰਤਿ ਸੁਭ ਦਿਸਟਿ ਦੁਆਰੇ ।

hath pair de daat kar sabad surat subh disatt duaare |

Gracefully He bestowed hands and feet, ears and consciousness for listening to the Word and eye for beholding goodness.

ਕਿਰਤਿ ਵਿਰਤਿ ਪਰਕਿਰਤਿ ਬਹੁ ਸਾਸਿ ਗਿਰਾਸਿ ਨਿਵਾਸੁ ਸੰਜਾਰੇ ।

kirat virat parakirat bahu saas giraas nivaas sanjaare |

For earning of the livelihood and other works, he infused life into body.

ਰਾਗ ਰੰਗ ਰਸ ਪਰਸਦੇ ਗੰਧ ਸੁਗੰਧ ਸੰਧਿ ਪਰਕਾਰੇ ।

raag rang ras parasade gandh sugandh sandh parakaare |

He bestowed various techniques of assimilation of music, colours, smells and fragrances.

ਛਾਦਨ ਭੋਜਨ ਬੁਧਿ ਬਲੁ ਟੇਕ ਬਿਬੇਕ ਵੀਚਾਰ ਵੀਚਾਰੇ ।

chhaadan bhojan budh bal ttek bibek veechaar veechaare |

For clothing and eating He gave wisdom, power, devotion, and discriminatory wisdom and thought process.

ਦਾਨੇ ਕੀਮਤਿ ਨਾ ਪਵੈ ਬੇਸੁਮਾਰ ਦਾਤਾਰ ਪਿਆਰੇ ।

daane keemat naa pavai besumaar daataar piaare |

The mysteries of that Bestower cannot be understood; that loving Donor keeps with Him myriad's of virtues.

ਲੇਖ ਅਲੇਖ ਅਸੰਖ ਅਪਾਰੇ ।੩।

lekh alekh asankh apaare |3|

Beyond all accounts, He is infinite and unfathomable.
