ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥

ik oankaar satigur prasaad |

One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:

ਮਨ ਕਹਾ ਲੁਭਾਈਐ ਆਨ ਕਉ ॥

man kahaa lubhaaeeai aan kau |

O my mind, why are you lured away by otherness?

ਈਤ ਊਤ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸਦਾ ਸਹਾਈ ਜੀਅ ਸੰਗਿ ਤੇਰੇ ਕਾਮ ਕਉ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

eet aoot prabh sadaa sahaaee jeea sang tere kaam kau |1| rahaau |

Here and hereafter, God is forever your Help and Support. He is your soul-mate; He will help you succeed. ||1||Pause||

ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਨਾਮੁ ਪ੍ਰਿਅ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਮਨੋਹਰ ਇਹੈ ਅਘਾਵਨ ਪਾਂਨ ਕਉ ॥

amrit naam pria preet manohar ihai aghaavan paan kau |

The Name of your Beloved Lover, the Fascinating Lord, is Ambrosial Nectar. Drinking it in, you shall find satisfaction.

ਅਕਾਲ ਮੂਰਤਿ ਹੈ ਸਾਧ ਸੰਤਨ ਕੀ ਠਾਹਰ ਨੀਕੀ ਧਿਆਨ ਕਉ ॥੧॥

akaal moorat hai saadh santan kee tthaahar neekee dhiaan kau |1|

The Being of Immortal Manifestation is found in the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy. Meditate on Him in that most sublime place. ||1||

ਬਾਣੀ ਮੰਤ੍ਰੁ ਮਹਾ ਪੁਰਖਨ ਕੀ ਮਨਹਿ ਉਤਾਰਨ ਮਾਂਨ ਕਉ ॥

baanee mantru mahaa purakhan kee maneh utaaran maan kau |

The Bani, the Word of the Supreme Lord God, is the greatest Mantra of all. It eradicates pride from the mind.

ਖੋਜਿ ਲਹਿਓ ਨਾਨਕ ਸੁਖ ਥਾਨਾਂ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਾ ਬਿਸ੍ਰਾਮ ਕਉ ॥੨॥੧॥੨੦॥

khoj lahio naanak sukh thaanaan har naamaa bisraam kau |2|1|20|

Searching, Nanak found the home of peace and bliss in the Name of the Lord. ||2||1||20||
