ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਪੂਰਣ ਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਗੁਰ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਉ ।

paarabraham pooran braham gur naanak deo |

Guru Nanak is perfect and transcendental Brahm.

ਗੁਰ ਅੰਗਦੁ ਗੁਰ ਅੰਗ ਤੇ ਸਚ ਸਬਦ ਸਮੇਉ ।

gur angad gur ang te sach sabad sameo |

Guru Angad attained merger in Word by being in the company of the Guru.

ਅਮਰਾਪਦੁ ਗੁਰ ਅੰਗਦਹੁ ਅਤਿ ਅਲਖ ਅਭੇਉ ।

amaraapad gur angadahu at alakh abheo |

After Guru Angad, the imperceptible and without duality, Guru Amas Das, the bestower of immortality has flourished.

ਗੁਰ ਅਮਰਹੁ ਗੁਰ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਗਤਿ ਅਛਲ ਅਛੇਉ ।

After Guru Amar Das, the forbearing and storehouse of infinite virtues, Guru Ram Das made manifest his existence.

ਰਾਮ ਰਸਕ ਅਰਜਨ ਗੁਰੂ ਅਬਿਚਲ ਅਰਖੇਉ ।
