ਸਾਹੁ ਪੁਤ੍ਰ ਛੇਰੀ ਲਏ ਬਨ ਮੈ ਭਯੋ ਖਰਾਬ ॥

saahu putr chheree le ban mai bhayo kharaab |

Thus the Shah’s son roamed around in the jungle,

ਸੂਕਿ ਦੂਬਰੋ ਤਨ ਭਯੋ ਹੇਰੇ ਲਜਤ ਰਬਾਬ ॥੧੩॥

sook doobaro tan bhayo here lajat rabaab |13|

And got weaker and weaker with the shame.(13)
