ਸਿੰਘ ਨਿਹਾਰ ਕੈ ਜਿਉ ਸਰਦੂਲ ਘਨੋ ਬਲ ਕੈ ਰਿਸ ਸਾਥਿ ਤਚਾਯੋ ॥

singh nihaar kai jiau saradool ghano bal kai ris saath tachaayo |

Just as a big lion, seeing a small lion, gets infuriated

ਜਿਉ ਗਜਰਾਜ ਲਖਿਯੋ ਬਨ ਮੈ ਮ੍ਰਿਗਰਾਜ ਮਨੋ ਅਤਿ ਕੋਪ ਬਢਾਯੋ ॥

jiau gajaraaj lakhiyo ban mai mrigaraaj mano at kop badtaayo |

Just as seeing the king of elephants, the king of deer gets angry

ਜਿਉ ਚਿਤਵਾ ਮ੍ਰਿਗ ਪੇਖ ਕੈ ਦਉਰਤ ਸਵਛ ਨਰੇਸ ਪੈ ਤਿਉ ਹਰਿ ਧਾਯੋ ॥

jiau chitavaa mrig pekh kai daurat savachh nares pai tiau har dhaayo |

Just as seeing the deer, the leopard falls upon them, in the same manner, Krishna fell upon Svachh Singh

ਪਉਨ ਕੇ ਗਉਨ ਤੇ ਆਗੇ ਚਲਿਯੋ ਹਰਿ ਕੋ ਰਥੁ ਦਾਰੁਕ ਐਸੇ ਧਵਾਯੋ ॥੧੨੮੫॥

paun ke gaun te aage chaliyo har ko rath daaruk aise dhavaayo |1285|

On this side, Daruk in order to leave behing the spped of the wind, drove away the chariot of Krishna.1285.

ਉਤ ਤੇ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਸਵਛ ਭਯੋ ਸਮੁਹੇ ਇਤ ਤੇ ਸੁ ਚਲਿਯੋ ਰਿਸ ਕੈ ਬਲ ਭਈਯਾ ॥

aut te nrip savachh bhayo samuhe it te su chaliyo ris kai bal bheeyaa |

From that side, Svachh Singh came forward and from this side, Krishna, the brother of Balram marched forward in anger

ਬਾਨ ਕਮਾਨ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨ ਲਰੇ ਦੋਊ ਆਪਸਿ ਮੈ ਬਰ ਜੁਧੁ ਕਰਈਯਾ ॥

baan kamaan kripaan lare doaoo aapas mai bar judh kareeyaa |

Both the warriors began to fight taking their bows, arrows and swords in their hands, both were enduring,

ਮਾਰ ਹੀ ਮਾਰ ਪੁਕਾਰਿ ਅਰੇ ਨ ਟਰੇ ਰਨ ਤੇ ਅਤਿ ਧੀਰ ਧਰਈਯਾ ॥

maar hee maar pukaar are na ttare ran te at dheer dhareeyaa |

Both of them shouted “Kill, Kill” but they kept resisting in front of each other and did not swerve even slightly

ਸ︀ਯਾਮ ਤੇ ਰਾਮ ਤੇ ਜਾਦਵ ਤੇ ਨ ਡਰਿਯੋ ਸੁ ਲਰਿਯੋ ਬਰ ਬੀਰ ਲਰਈਯਾ ॥੧੨੮੬॥

sayaam te raam te jaadav te na ddariyo su lariyo bar beer lareeyaa |1286|

Svachh Singh was neither feared Krishna nor Balram nor from any of the Yadavas.1286.
