ਗੰਗ ਜਮੁਨ ਭੀਤਰ ਬਸੈ ਕੈਲਾਖਰ ਦੀ ਦੂਨ ॥

gang jamun bheetar basai kailaakhar dee doon |

There exists a valley at Kailakhar, at the confluence of the River Jamuna and the Rives Ganga.

ਤਿਹ ਠਾ ਲੋਗ ਬਸੈ ਘਨੈ ਪ੍ਰਤਛ ਪਸੂ ਕੀ ਜੂਨ ॥੧॥

tih tthaa log basai ghanai pratachh pasoo kee joon |1|

The people of that place lived a life of destitute, like the animals.(1)
