ਕਬੀਰ ਰਾਤੀ ਹੋਵਹਿ ਕਾਰੀਆ ਕਾਰੇ ਊਭੇ ਜੰਤ ॥

kabeer raatee hoveh kaareea kaare aoobhe jant |

Kabeer, the night is dark, and men go about doing their dark deeds.

ਲੈ ਫਾਹੇ ਉਠਿ ਧਾਵਤੇ ਸਿ ਜਾਨਿ ਮਾਰੇ ਭਗਵੰਤ ॥੧੦॥

lai faahe utth dhaavate si jaan maare bhagavant |10|

They take the noose and run around; but rest assured that God shall destroy them. ||10||
