BHUJANG PRAYYAT STANZA

ਨਮੋ ਖਗ ਖੰਡੰ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਣੰ ਕਟਾਰੰ ॥

namo khag khanddan kripaanan kattaaran |

Salutation to him, who wields spear, double-edged sword, sword and dagger,

ਸਦਾ ਏਕ ਰੂਪੰ ਸਦਾ ਨਿਰਬਿਕਾਰੰ ॥

sadaa ek roopan sadaa nirabikaaran |

Who is ever monomorphic and ever without vices.

ਨਮੋ ਬਾਣ ਪਾਣੰ ਨਮੋ ਦੰਡ ਧਾਰਿਯੰ ॥

namo baan paanan namo dandd dhaariyan |

Salutation to Him, who is the wielder of bow in His hands and who also carries the staff,

ਜਿਨੈ ਚੌਦਹੂੰ ਲੋਕ ਜੋਤੰ ਬਿਥਾਰਿਯੰ ॥੮੭॥

jinai chauadahoon lok jotan bithaariyan |87|

Who hath spread His Light in all the fourteen worlds.87.

ਨਮਸਕਾਰਯੰ ਮੋਰ ਤੀਰੰ ਤੁਫੰਗੰ ॥

namasakaarayan mor teeran tufangan |

I salute the arrow and the gun, I salute the lustrous sword,

ਨਮੋ ਖਗ ਅਦੱਗੰ ਅਭੇਯੰ ਅਭੰਗੰ ॥

namo khag adagan abheyan abhangan |

Which Is impenetratable and indestructible.

ਗਦਾਯੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਸਟੰ ਨਮੋ ਸੈਹਥੀਯੰ ॥

gadaayan grisattan namo saihatheeyan |

I salute the great mace and lance,

ਜਿਨੈ ਤੁੱਲੀਯੰ ਬੀਰ ਬੀਯੋ ਨ ਬੀਯੰ ॥੮੮॥

jinai tuleeyan beer beeyo na beeyan |88|

Which have no equal or second in bravery.88.
