ਮੈ ਨ ਤਜੋ ਪੀਅ ਸੰਗਿ ਕੈਸੋਈ ਦੁਖ ਜੀਅ ਪੈ ਪਰੋ ॥

mai na tajo peea sang kaisoee dukh jeea pai paro |

“I cannot forsake the company of my beloved even if I have to undergo a great suffering.

ਤਨਕ ਨ ਮੋਰਉ ਅੰਗਿ ਅੰਗਿ ਤੇ ਹੋਇ ਅਨੰਗ ਕਿਨ ॥੨੪੬॥

tanak na morau ang ang te hoe anang kin |246|

“For this, undoubtedly, if my limbs are chopped, I shall not turn back a little and shall not deem it and anguish.”246.
