ਤੁਮਰੇ ਸਿਰ ਪਰ ਕਾਢਿ ਕੈ ਠਾਢੇ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਤਰਵਾਰਿ ॥

tumare sir par kaadt kai tthaadte hvai taravaar |

‘They (the police) might put a sharp sword above your head,

ਤੁਮ ਡਰਿ ਕਛੁ ਨ ਉਚਾਰਿਯੋ ਲੈ ਹੋਂ ਜਿਯਤ ਉਬਾਰਿ ॥੩॥

tum ddar kachh na uchaariyo lai hon jiyat ubaar |3|

‘But you don’t show any dread as I will save you.(3)
