Kaanraa, Fifth Mehl:

ਸਿਮਰਤ ਨਾਮੁ ਮਨਹਿ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਈਐ ॥

simarat naam maneh sukh paaeeai |

Meditating in remembrance on the Naam, peace of mind is found.

ਸਾਧ ਜਨਾ ਮਿਲਿ ਹਰਿ ਜਸੁ ਗਾਈਐ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

saadh janaa mil har jas gaaeeai |1| rahaau |

Meeting the Holy Saint, sing the Praises of the Lord. ||1||Pause||

ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਰਿਦੈ ਬਸੇਰੋ ॥

kar kirapaa prabh ridai basero |

Granting His Grace, God has come to dwell within my heart.

ਚਰਨ ਸੰਤਨ ਕੈ ਮਾਥਾ ਮੇਰੋ ॥੧॥

charan santan kai maathaa mero |1|

I touch my forehead to the feet of the Saints. ||1||

ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਕਉ ਸਿਮਰਹੁ ਮਨਾਂ ॥

paarabraham kau simarahu manaan |

Meditate, O my mind, on the Supreme Lord God.

ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਜਸੁ ਸੁਨਾਂ ॥੨॥੯॥੨੮॥

guramukh naanak har jas sunaan |2|9|28|

As Gurmukh, Nanak listens to the Praises of the Lord. ||2||9||28||
