ਆਦਿ ਪੁਰਖ ਅਨਭੈ ਅਨੰਤ ਗੁਰੁ ਅੰਤ ਨ ਪਾਈਐ ।

ਅਪਰ ਅਪਾਰ ਅਗੰਮ ਆਦਿ ਜਿਸੁ ਲਖੀ ਨ ਜਾਈਐ ।

apar apaar agam aad jis lakhee na jaaeeai |

He, the infinite Primal Being, is not discernible through temporal aptitude.

ਅਮਰ ਅਜਾਚੀ ਸਤਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਤਿਸੁ ਸਦਾ ਧਿਆਈਐ ।

amar ajaachee sat naam tis sadaa dhiaaeeai |

He neither perishes nor needs any favours, and, therefore, must always be remembered,

ਸਚਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਸੇਵੀਐ ਮਨ ਚਿੰਦਿਆ ਪਾਈਐ ।

sachaa saahib seveeai man chindiaa paaeeai |

As with service to the True One, the fear free posture is earned.

ਅਨਿਕ ਰੂਪ ਧਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਿਆ ਹੈ ਏਕ ਅਕੇਲਾ ।

anik roop dhar pragattiaa hai ek akelaa |

He, the only one, has manifested in myriad of forms.

ਵਾਹ ਵਾਹ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਆਪੇ ਗੁਰੁ ਚੇਲਾ ।੮।
