ਮੈ ਨ ਚਲੋ ਸਜਨੀ ਹਰਿ ਪੈ ਜੁ ਚਲੋ ਤਬ ਮੋਹਿ ਬ੍ਰਿਜਨਾਥ ਦੁਹਾਈ ॥

mai na chalo sajanee har pai ju chalo tab mohi brijanaath duhaaee |

“O friend! I swear by the Lord of Braja, I shall not go to Krishna

ਮੋ ਸੰਗ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਤਜੀ ਜਦੁਨੰਦਨ ਚੰਦ੍ਰਭਗਾ ਸੰਗਿ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਲਗਾਈ ॥

mo sang preet tajee jadunandan chandrabhagaa sang preet lagaaee |

Krishna has forsaken his love with me and is absorbed in the love of Chandarbhaga,”

ਸ︀ਯਾਮ ਕੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਮਹਾ ਤੁਮ ਸੌ ਤਜਿ ਮਾਨ ਹਹਾ ਰੀ ਚਲੋ ਦੁਚਿਤਾਈ ॥

sayaam kee preet mahaa tum sau taj maan hahaa ree chalo duchitaaee |

ਤੇਰੇ ਬਿਨਾ ਨਹੀ ਖੇਲਤ ਹੈ ਕਹਿਯੋ ਖੇਲਹੁ ਜਾਹੂੰ ਸੋ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਲਗਾਈ ॥੬੮੭॥

tere binaa nahee khelat hai kahiyo khelahu jaahoon so preet lagaaee |687|
