ਕਵਨ ਮਰੈ ਕਾ ਕੋ ਕੋਊ ਮਾਰੈ ॥

kavan marai kaa ko koaoo maarai |

ਭੂਲਾ ਲੋਕ ਭਰਮ ਬੀਚਾਰੈ ॥

bhoolaa lok bharam beechaarai |

‘Whom does He kill and why, the innocent people cannot grasp.

ਯਹ ਨ ਮਰਤ ਮਾਰਤ ਹੈ ਨਾਹੀ ॥

yeh na marat maarat hai naahee |

ਯੌ ਰਾਜਾ ਸਮਝਹੁ ਮਨ ਮਾਹੀ ॥੧੯॥

yau raajaa samajhahu man maahee |19|

‘Neither He kills nor he dies, and you try to acquiesce this, Oh Raja.(19)
