ਆਠ ਭੁਜਾ ਕਰਿ ਕੈ ਅਪਨੀ ਸਭਨੋ ਕਰ ਮੈ ਬਰ ਆਯੁਧ ਲੀਨੇ ॥

aatth bhujaa kar kai apanee sabhano kar mai bar aayudh leene |

This maya manifested herself assuming eight arms and holding her weapons in her hands

ਜਵਾਲ ਨਿਕਾਸ ਕਹੀ ਮੁਖ ਤੇ ਰਿਪੁ ਅਉਰ ਭਯੋ ਤੁਮਰੋ ਮਤਿ ਹੀਨੇ ॥

javaal nikaas kahee mukh te rip aaur bhayo tumaro mat heene |

The flames of fire were coming out of her mouth, she said, “O foolish Kansa! your enemy has taken birth at another place”

ਦਾਮਿਨਿ ਸੀ ਲਹਕੈ ਨਭਿ ਮੈ ਡਰ ਕੈ ਫਟਗੇ ਤਿਹ ਸਤ੍ਰਨ ਸੀਨੇ ॥

daamin see lahakai nabh mai ddar kai fattage tih satran seene |

Saying this much, and crating fear in the hearts of the enemies,

ਮਾਰ ਡਰੈ ਇਹ ਹੂੰ ਹਮ ਹੂੰ ਸਭ ਤ੍ਰਾਸ ਮਨੈ ਅਤਿ ਦੈਤਨ ਕੀਨੇ ॥੭੩॥

maar ddarai ih hoon ham hoon sabh traas manai at daitan keene |73|

She began to wave like lightning in the sky and all the demons became fearful thinking that she may kill all of them.73.
