ਸੋਰਠਿ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥

Sorat'h, Fifth Mehl:

ਆਗੈ ਸੁਖੁ ਮੇਰੇ ਮੀਤਾ ॥

aagai sukh mere meetaa |

Peace in this world, O my friends,

ਪਾਛੇ ਆਨਦੁ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਕੀਤਾ ॥

paachhe aanad prabh keetaa |

and bliss in the world hereafter - God has given me this.

ਪਰਮੇਸੁਰਿ ਬਣਤ ਬਣਾਈ ॥

paramesur banat banaaee |

The Transcendent Lord has arranged these arrangements;

ਫਿਰਿ ਡੋਲਤ ਕਤਹੂ ਨਾਹੀ ॥੧॥

fir ddolat katahoo naahee |1|

I shall never waver again. ||1||

ਸਾਚੇ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਸਿਉ ਮਨੁ ਮਾਨਿਆ ॥

saache saahib siau man maaniaa |

My mind is pleased with the True Lord Master.

ਹਰਿ ਸਰਬ ਨਿਰੰਤਰਿ ਜਾਨਿਆ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

har sarab nirantar jaaniaa |1| rahaau |

I know the Lord to be pervading all. ||1||Pause||

ਸਭ ਜੀਅ ਤੇਰੇ ਦਇਆਲਾ ॥

sabh jeea tere deaalaa |

All beings are Yours, O Merciful Lord.

ਅਪਨੇ ਭਗਤ ਕਰਹਿ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲਾ ॥

apane bhagat kareh pratipaalaa |

You cherish Your devotees.

ਅਚਰਜੁ ਤੇਰੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ॥

acharaj teree vaddiaaee |

Your glorious greatness is wonderful and marvellous.

ਨਿਤ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਈ ॥੨॥੨੩॥੮੭॥

nit naanak naam dhiaaee |2|23|87|

Nanak ever meditates on the Naam, the Name of the Lord. ||2||23||87||
