Kaanraa, Fifth Mehl:

ਸਾਧਸੰਗਤਿ ਨਿਧਿ ਹਰਿ ਕੋ ਨਾਮ ॥

saadhasangat nidh har ko naam |

The Treasure of the Naam, the Name of the Lord, is found in the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy.

ਸੰਗਿ ਸਹਾਈ ਜੀਅ ਕੈ ਕਾਮ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

sang sahaaee jeea kai kaam |1| rahaau |

It is the Companion of the soul, its Helper and Support. ||1||Pause||

ਸੰਤ ਰੇਨੁ ਨਿਤਿ ਮਜਨੁ ਕਰੈ ॥

sant ren nit majan karai |

Continually bathing in the dust of the feet of the Saints,

ਜਨਮ ਜਨਮ ਕੇ ਕਿਲਬਿਖ ਹਰੈ ॥੧॥

janam janam ke kilabikh harai |1|

the sins of countless incarnations are washed away. ||1||

ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾ ਕੀ ਊਚੀ ਬਾਨੀ ॥

sant janaa kee aoochee baanee |

The words of the humble Saints are lofty and exalted.

ਸਿਮਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਤਰੇ ਨਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਾਨੀ ॥੨॥੨॥੧੩॥

simar simar tare naanak praanee |2|2|13|

Meditating, meditating in remembrance, O Nanak, mortal beings are carried across and saved. ||2||2||13||
