With great enthusiasm the marriage of the three remaining sons was fixed.

ਦੇਸ ਬਿਦੇਸਨ ਹੋਤ ਬਧਾਏ ॥੧੫੮॥

After the marriage of Ram and Sita, the congratulatory messages were received from various countries, when they returned to their home.158.

There was atmosphere of zest on all sides and the arrangements were being made for the celebration of the marriage of three sons.

ਨਾਚਤ ਕੋਟਨ ਕੋਟ ਅਖਾਰੰ ॥੧੫੯॥

On all sides the drums resounded in various tunes and many companies of dancers began to dance.159.

ਜੋਬਨਵੰਤ ਸਿਪਾਹੀ ਭਲੇ ॥
jobanavant sipaahee bhale |
The warriors decorated with armours and the youthful soldiers marched forward.
ਭਏ ਜਾਇ ਇਸਥਤ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਦਰ ਪਰ ॥
bhe jaae isathat nrip dar par |
ਮਹਾਰਥੀ ਅਰੁ ਮਹਾ ਧਨੁਰਧਰ ॥੧੬੦॥

All these great charioteers and archers came and stood at the gate of the king Dasrath.160.

ਢੋਲ ਮ੍ਰਿਦੰਗ ਸੁਰੰਗ ਸੁਧਾਰੰ ॥

Many types of musical instruments resounded and the melodious sounds of the drums were heard.
ਗਾਵਤ ਗੀਤ ਚੰਚਲਾ ਨਾਰੀ ॥
gaavat geet chanchalaa naaree |
ਨੈਨ ਨਚਾਇ ਬਜਾਵਤ ਤਾਰੀ ॥੧੬੧॥

The energetic women began to sing and reveal their joy by dancing their eyes and clapping their hands.161.
ਭਿਛਕਨ ਹਵਸ ਨ ਧਨ ਕੀ ਰਹੀ ॥
bhichhakan havas na dhan kee rahee |
ਦਾਨ ਸ੍ਵਰਨ ਸਰਤਾ ਹੁਇ ਬਹੀ ॥
daan svaran sarataa hue bahee |
The beggars had no more desire for wealth because the gift of gold flowed like a stream.
ਏਕ ਬਾਤ ਮਾਗਨ ਕਉ ਆਵੈ ॥
ek baat maagan kau aavai |
ਬੀਸਕ ਬਾਤ ਘਰੈ ਲੈ ਜਾਵੈ ॥੧੬੨॥
beesak baat gharai lai jaavai |162|
Anyone who asked for one thing, he would return to his home with twenty things.162.
ਬਨਿ ਬਨਿ ਚਲਤ ਭਏ ਰਘੁਨੰਦਨ ॥
ban ban chalat bhe raghunandan |
ਫੂਲੇ ਪੁਹਪ ਬਸੰਤ ਜਾਨੁ ਬਨ ॥
foole puhap basant jaan ban |
The sons of king Dasrath playing in the forests appeared like the flowers bloomed in spring season.
ਸੋਭਤ ਕੇਸਰ ਅੰਗਿ ਡਰਾਯੋ ॥
sobhat kesar ang ddaraayo |
ਆਨੰਦ ਹੀਏ ਉਛਰ ਜਨ ਆਯੋ ॥੧੬੩॥

The saffron sprinkled on the limbs appeared like the bliss gushing forth form the heart.163.
ਸਾਜਤ ਭਏ ਅਮਿਤ ਚਤੁਰੰਗਾ ॥
saajat bhe amit chaturangaa |
ਉਮਡ ਚਲਤ ਜਿਹ ਬਿਧਿ ਕਰਿ ਗੰਗਾ ॥
aumadd chalat jih bidh kar gangaa |
They are gathering their limitless fourfold army like the gushing forth of the Ganges.
ਭਲ ਭਲ ਕੁਅਰ ਚੜੇ ਸਜ ਸੈਨਾ ॥
bhal bhal kuar charre saj sainaa |
ਕੋਟਕ ਚੜੇ ਸੂਰ ਜਨੁ ਗੈਨਾ ॥੧੬੪॥

With their armed forces the princes appear glorious like millions of suns in the sky.164.
ਭਰਥ ਸਹਿਤ ਸੋਭਤ ਸਭ ਭ੍ਰਾਤਾ ॥
bharath sahit sobhat sabh bhraataa |
ਕਹਿ ਨ ਪਰਤ ਮੁਖ ਤੇ ਕਛੁ ਬਾਤਾ ॥
keh na parat mukh te kachh baataa |
All the brothers blongwith Bharat seem in such splendour which cannot be described.
ਮਾਤਨ ਮਨ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਸੁਤ ਮੋਹੈਂ ॥
maatan man sundar sut mohain |
ਜਨੁ ਦਿਤ ਗ੍ਰਹ ਰਵਿ ਸਸ ਦੋਊ ਸੋਹੈਂ ॥੧੬੫॥
jan dit grah rav sas doaoo sohain |165|
The beautiful princes are alluring the minds of their mothers and appear like the sun and moon born in the house of Diti, increasing its magnificence.165.
ਇਹ ਬਿਧ ਕੈ ਸਜ ਸੁਧ ਬਰਾਤਾ ॥

ਕਛੁ ਨ ਪਰਤ ਕਹਿ ਤਿਨ ਕੀ ਬਾਤਾ ॥
kachh na parat keh tin kee baataa |
In this way the beautiful wedding parties were emblished. Which are indescribable
ਬਾਢਤ ਕਹਤ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਬਾਤਨ ਕਰ ॥
baadtat kehat granth baatan kar |
ਬਿਦਾ ਹੋਨ ਸਿਸ ਚਲੇ ਤਾਤ ਘਰ ॥੧੬੬॥
bidaa hon sis chale taat ghar |166|
By saying all this the volume of the book will be increased And all these children moved towards the place of their father for getting his permission to depart.166.
ਆਇ ਪਿਤਾ ਕਹੁ ਕੀਨ ਪ੍ਰਨਾਮਾ ॥
aae pitaa kahu keen pranaamaa |
ਜੋਰਿ ਪਾਨ ਠਾਢੇ ਬਨਿ ਧਾਮਾ ॥
jor paan tthaadte ban dhaamaa |
They ll came and bowed before their father and stood there with folded hands.
ਨਿਰਖਿ ਪੁਤ੍ਰ ਆਨੰਦ ਮਨ ਭਰੇ ॥
nirakh putr aanand man bhare |
ਦਾਨ ਬਹੁਤ ਬਿਪਨ ਕਹ ਕਰੇ ॥੧੬੭॥
daan bahut bipan keh kare |167|
The king was filled with joy on seeing his sons and he gave many things in charity to the Brahmins.167.
ਤਾਤ ਮਾਤ ਲੈ ਕੰਠਿ ਲਗਾਏ ॥
taat maat lai kantth lagaae |
ਜਨ ਦੁਇ ਰਤਨ ਨਿਰਧਨੀ ਪਾਏ ॥
jan due ratan niradhanee paae |
Hugging their children to their bosom the parents felt great pleasure like a poor man on acquiring the gems.
ਬਿਦਾ ਮਾਗ ਜਬ ਗਏ ਰਾਮ ਘਰ ॥
bidaa maag jab ge raam ghar |
ਸੀਸ ਰਹੇ ਧਰਿ ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਪਰ ॥੧੬੮॥

After taking permission for departure they reached the place of Ram and bowed their on his feet.168.
