ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਜਨਮੁ ਸਵਾਰਿ ਦਰਗਹ ਚਲਿਆ ।

guramukh janam savaar daragah chaliaa |

Spending this life fruitfully gurmukh goes to the other world.

ਸਚੀ ਦਰਗਹ ਜਾਇ ਸਚਾ ਪਿੜੁ ਮਲਿਆ ।

sachee daragah jaae sachaa pirr maliaa |

There in the true court (of lord) he gets his true place.

ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਭੋਜਨੁ ਭਾਉ ਚਾਉ ਅਲਲਿਆ ।

guramukh bhojan bhaau chaau alaliaa |

Repast of gurmukh is love and his delight is devoid of flirtatiousness.

ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਨਿਹਚਲੁ ਚਿਤੁ ਨ ਹਲੈ ਹਲਿਆ ।

guramukh nihachal chit na halai haliaa |

Gurmukh has a tranquil heart and remains steadfast even in ups and downs.

ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਸਚੁ ਅਲਾਉ ਭਲੀ ਹੂੰ ਭਲਿਆ ।

guramukh sach alaau bhalee hoon bhaliaa |

He speaks truth and good of the good.

ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਸਦੇ ਜਾਨਿ ਆਵਨਿ ਘਲਿਆ ।੧੪।

guramukh sade jaan aavan ghaliaa |14|

Only gurmukhs are called to the court of the Lord and they come to the world only when the Lord sends them.
