ਜ਼ ਫ਼ੈਜ਼ਿ ਮਕਦਮਤ ਐ ਅਬਰੂਇ ਫ਼ਸਲਿ ਬਹਾਰ ।

z faiz makadamat ai abarooe fasal bahaar |

There is no one else other than the Waaheguru inside Kaabaa or the temple;

ਜਹਾਣ ਚੂ ਬਾਗ਼ਿ ਇਰਮ ਪੁਰ ਸ਼ੁਦਸਤ ਅਜ਼ ਗ਼ੁਲਜ਼ਾਰ ।੩੬।੧।

jahaan choo baag iram pur shudasat az gulazaar |36|1|

How can the fire assume two different colors due to differences in the basic structure and make-up of stones? (2)

ਤਬੱਸਮਿ ਤੂ ਜਹਾਣ ਰਾ ਹੱਯਾਤ ਮੀ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਦ ।

tabasam too jahaan raa hayaat mee bakhashad |

The sky is bowing before the earth,

ਕਰਾਰ ਦੀਦਾਇ ਸਾਹਿਬ-ਦਿਲਾਣ ਪੁਰ-ਇਸਰਾਰ ।੩੬।੨।

karaar deedaae saahibadilaan puraeisaraar |36|2|

Because of the fact, devotees of Akaalpurakh squat here for a moment or two in His meditation. (3)

ਬਗ਼ੈਰ ਇਸ਼ਕਿ ਖ਼ੁਦਾ ਹੀਚ ਇਸ਼ਕ ਕਾਇਮ ਨੀਸਤ ।

bagair ishak khudaa heech ishak kaaeim neesat |

Under the shade of Kalap tree, one can have all his wishes fulfilled,

ਬਗ਼ੈਰ ਆਸ਼ਿਕਿ ਮੌਲਾ ਹਮਾ ਫ਼ਨਾਹ ਪਿੰਦਾਰ ।੩੬।੩।

bagair aashik maualaa hamaa fanaah pindaar |36|3|

However, under the shade (protection) of men of God, the saintly persons, one can attain God Himself. (4)

ਬਹਰ ਤਰਫ਼ ਕਿ ਨਿਗਾਹੇ ਕੁਨੀ ਰਵਾਣ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ੀ ।

behar taraf ki nigaahe kunee ravaan bakhashee |

ZINDAGEE NAAMAA

ਨਿਗਾਹਿ ਤੁਸਤ ਕਿ ਦਰ ਹਰ ਤਰਫ਼ ਬਵਦ ਜਾਣਬਾਰ ।੩੬।੪।

nigaeh tusat ki dar har taraf bavad jaanabaar |36|4|

The Akaalpurakh is the Master of the earth and the skies,

ਖ਼ੁਦਾ ਕਿ ਦਰ ਹਮਾ ਹਾਲਸਤ ਹਾਜ਼ਰੋ ਨਾਜ਼ਿਰ ।

khudaa ki dar hamaa haalasat haazaro naazir |

He is the one who bestows life to human beings and other living beings. (1)

ਕੁਜਾਸਤ ਦੀਦਾ ਕਿ ਬੀਨਦ ਬਹਰ ਤਰਫ਼ ਦੀਦਾਰ ।੩੬।੫।

kujaasat deedaa ki beenad behar taraf deedaar |36|5|

The dust on the path of Waaheguru serves like a collyrium to our eyes.

ਬਗ਼ੈਰ ਆਰਫ਼ਿ ਮੌਲਾ ਕਸੇ ਨਜਾਤ ਨ-ਯਾਫ਼ਤ ।

bagair aaraf maualaa kase najaat nayaafat |

In fact, He is the one who elevates the honor and esteem of every king and every saintly soul. (2)

ਅਜ਼ਲ ਜ਼ਮੀਨੋ ਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਰਾ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾ ਦਰ ਮਿਨਕਾਰ ।੩੬।੬।

azal zameeno zamaan raa grafataa dar minakaar |36|6|

Anyone who lives his life under a constant remembrance of Akaalpurakh,

ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਾ ਬਵਦ ਬੰਦਾਇ ਖ਼ੁਦਾ ਗੋਯਾ ।

hameshaa zindaa bavad bandaae khudaa goyaa |

Will always prompt and motivate others for the meditation of the Almighty. (3)
