ਜਬ ਹੀ ਕਰ ਲਾਲ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨ ਗਹੀ ॥

jab hee kar laal kripaan gahee |

I cannot describe how gracefully goddess

ਨਹਿ ਮੋ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭਾ ਤਿਹ ਜਾਤ ਕਹੀ ॥

neh mo te prabhaa tih jaat kahee |

Kali brandished the sword in her hand,

ਤਿਹ ਤੇਜੁ ਲਖੇ ਭਟ ਯੌ ਭਟਕੇ ॥

tih tej lakhe bhatt yau bhattake |

The heroes took to their heels

ਮਨੋ ਸੂਰ ਚੜਿਯੋ ਉਡ ਸੇ ਸਟਕੇ ॥੨੬॥

ਕੁਪਿ ਕਾਲਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨ ਕਰੰ ਗਹਿ ਕੈ ॥

ghattikaa ik beech sabho hanihauan |

ਤੁਮ ਤੇ ਨਹਿ ਏਕ ਬਲੀ ਗਨਿਹੌਂ ॥੨੭॥

tum te neh ek balee ganihauan |27|

And would leave none to become eminent combatants.(27)
