Saarang, Fifth Mehl:

ਤੂ ਮੇਰੇ ਮੀਤ ਸਖਾ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ॥

too mere meet sakhaa har praan |

O Lord, You are my Best Friend, my Companion, my Breath of Life.

ਮਨੁ ਧਨੁ ਜੀਉ ਪਿੰਡੁ ਸਭੁ ਤੁਮਰਾ ਇਹੁ ਤਨੁ ਸੀਤੋ ਤੁਮਰੈ ਧਾਨ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

man dhan jeeo pindd sabh tumaraa ihu tan seeto tumarai dhaan |1| rahaau |

My mind, wealth, body and soul are all Yours; this body is sewn together by Your Blessing. ||1||Pause||

ਤੁਮ ਹੀ ਦੀਏ ਅਨਿਕ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰਾ ਤੁਮ ਹੀ ਦੀਏ ਮਾਨ ॥

tum hee dee anik prakaaraa tum hee dee maan |

You have blessed me with all sorts of gifts; you have blessed me with honor and respect.

ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਤੁਮ ਹੀ ਪਤਿ ਰਾਖਹੁ ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ਜਾਨ ॥੧॥

sadaa sadaa tum hee pat raakhahu antarajaamee jaan |1|

Forever and ever, You preserve my honor, O Inner-knower, O Searcher of hearts. ||1||

ਜਿਨ ਸੰਤਨ ਜਾਨਿਆ ਤੂ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਤੇ ਆਏ ਪਰਵਾਨ ॥

jin santan jaaniaa too tthaakur te aae paravaan |

Those Saints who know You, O Lord and Master - blessed and approved is their coming into the world.

ਜਨ ਕਾ ਸੰਗੁ ਪਾਈਐ ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ਨਾਨਕ ਸੰਤਨ ਕੈ ਕੁਰਬਾਨ ॥੨॥੪੧॥੬੪॥

jan kaa sang paaeeai vaddabhaagee naanak santan kai kurabaan |2|41|64|

The Congregation of those humble beings is obtained by great good fortune; Nanak is a sacrifice to the Saints. ||2||41||64||
