ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥

ik oankaar satigur prasaad |

One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:

ਕੋਊ ਹੈ ਮੇਰੋ ਸਾਜਨੁ ਮੀਤੁ ॥

koaoo hai mero saajan meet |

Is there any friend or companion of mine,

ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਸੁਨਾਵੈ ਨੀਤ ॥

har naam sunaavai neet |

who will constantly share the Lord's Name with me?

ਬਿਨਸੈ ਦੁਖੁ ਬਿਪਰੀਤਿ ॥

binasai dukh bipareet |

Will he rid me of my pains and evil tendencies?

ਸਭੁ ਅਰਪਉ ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਚੀਤੁ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

sabh arpau man tan cheet |1| rahaau |

I would surrender my mind, body, consciousness and everything. ||1||Pause||

ਕੋਈ ਵਿਰਲਾ ਆਪਨ ਕੀਤ ॥

koee viralaa aapan keet |

How rare is that one whom the Lord makes His own,

ਸੰਗਿ ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਮਨੁ ਸੀਤ ॥

sang charan kamal man seet |

and whose mind is sewn into the Lord's Lotus Feet.

ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਹਰਿ ਜਸੁ ਦੀਤ ॥੧॥

kar kirapaa har jas deet |1|

Granting His Grace, the Lord blesses him with His Praise. ||1||

ਹਰਿ ਭਜਿ ਜਨਮੁ ਪਦਾਰਥੁ ਜੀਤ ॥

har bhaj janam padaarath jeet |

Vibrating, meditating on the Lord, he is victorious in this precious human life,

ਕੋਟਿ ਪਤਿਤ ਹੋਹਿ ਪੁਨੀਤ ॥

kott patit hohi puneet |

and millions of sinners are sanctified.

ਨਾਨਕ ਦਾਸ ਬਲਿ ਬਲਿ ਕੀਤ ॥੨॥੧॥੧੦॥੧੯॥

naanak daas bal bal keet |2|1|10|19|

Slave Nanak is a sacrifice, a sacrifice to Him. ||2||1||10||19||
