ਲਖ ਲਖ ਬਾਵਨ ਚੰਦਨਾ ਲਖ ਅਗਰ ਮਿਲੰਦੇ ।

lakh lakh baavan chandanaa lakh agar milande |

Myriads of sandals and fragrant sticks may be mixed;

ਲਖ ਕਪੂਰ ਕਥੂਰੀਆ ਅੰਬਰ ਮਹਿਕੰਦੇ ।

lakh kapoor kathooreea anbar mahikande |

With myriads camphor’s and musk’s the sky may be made full of fragrance;

ਲਖ ਲਖ ਗਉੜੇ ਮੇਦ ਮਿਲਿ ਕੇਸਰ ਚਮਕੰਦੇ ।

lakh lakh gaurre med mil kesar chamakande |

If myriads of saffron are mixed with yellow pigment of cow;

ਸਭ ਸੁਗੰਧ ਰਲਾਇ ਕੈ ਅਰਗਜਾ ਕਰੰਦੇ ।

sabh sugandh ralaae kai aragajaa karande |

And of all these fragrances an incense stick is prepared;

ਲਖ ਅਰਗਜੇ ਫੁਲੇਲ ਫੁਲ ਫੁਲਵਾੜੀ ਸੰਦੇ ।

lakh aragaje fulel ful fulavaarree sande |

Then myriads of such sticks may be mixed with the fragrance of flowers and scents,

ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਸੁਖ ਫਲ ਪਿਰਮ ਰਸੁ ਵਾਸੂ ਨ ਲਹੰਦੇ ।੭।

guramukh sukh fal piram ras vaasoo na lahande |7|

Even then all these cannot withstand the fragrance of the elixir of love of the gurmukh.
