Chaupaee

ਇਹ ਸੁ ਭੇਦ ਬਿਪ ਨੈ ਲਹਿ ਲਯੋ ॥

eih su bhed bip nai leh layo |

ਰੀਝਤ ਅਧਿਕ ਚਿਤ ਮਹਿ ਭਯੋ ॥

reejhat adhik chit meh bhayo |

Brahmin observed all the interlude and felt very desirous,

ਅਮਿਤ ਦਰਬੁ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਤੇ ਜੋ ਲੀਨੋ ॥

amit darab nrip te jo leeno |

ਸੋ ਲੈ ਕਾਮਕੰਦਲਹਿ ਦੀਨੋ ॥੧੩॥

so lai kaamakandaleh deeno |13|

And all the wealth he was rewarded by Raja, he gave away to Kaamkandla.(13)
