ਲਖ ਲਖ ਪੀਰ ਮੁਰੀਦ ਮੇਲ ਮਿਲਾਵਹੀ ।

lakh lakh peer mureed mel milaavahee |

Lacs of spiritualists and their disciples assemble.

ਸੁਹਦੇ ਲਖ ਸਹੀਦ ਜਾਰਤ ਲਾਵਹੀ ।

suhade lakh saheed jaarat laavahee |

Myriads of beggers ave pilgrimages at the martyries.

ਲਖ ਰੋਜੇ ਲਖ ਈਦ ਨਿਵਾਜ ਕਰਾਵਹੀ ।

lakh roje lakh eed nivaaj karaavahee |

Millions of people observe fasts (roza) and offer namaz (prayer) of id.

ਕਰਿ ਕਰਿ ਗੁਫਤ ਸੁਨੀਦ ਮਨ ਪਰਚਾਵਹੀ ।

kar kar gufat suneed man parachaavahee |

Many entice their minds by being busy in questioning and answering.

ਹੁਜਰੇ ਕੁਲਫ ਕਲੀਦ ਜੁਹਦ ਕਮਾਵਹੀ ।

hujare kulaf kaleed juhad kamaavahee |

Many are engaged in preparing the key of evotion for opening the lock of mind's temple.

ਦਰਿ ਦਰਵੇਸ ਰਸੀਦ ਨ ਆਪੁ ਜਣਾਵਹੀ ।੧੩।

dar daraves raseed na aap janaavahee |13|
