ਮਾਤ ਖਿਝੀ ਉਨ ਗੋਪਿਨ ਕੋ ਤੁਮ ਕਿਉ ਸੁਤ ਮੋਹਿ ਖਿਝਾਵਤ ਹਉ ਰੀ ॥

maat khijhee un gopin ko tum kiau sut mohi khijhaavat hau ree |

ਬੋਲਤ ਹੋ ਅਪਨੇ ਮੁਖ ਤੇ ਹਮਰੇ ਧਨ ਹੈ ਦਧਿ ਦਾਮ ਸੁ ਗਉ ਰੀ ॥

bolat ho apane mukh te hamare dhan hai dadh daam su gau ree |

The mother Yashoda said angrily to those gopis, “Why do you annoy my child? You are bragging with your mouth that the curd, cow and wealth is only in your house and none other has got them

ਮੂੜ ਅਹੀਰ ਨ ਜਾਨਤ ਹੈ ਬਢਿ ਬੋਲਤ ਹੋ ਸੁ ਰਹੋ ਤੁਮ ਠਉ ਰੀ ॥

moorr aheer na jaanat hai badt bolat ho su raho tum tthau ree |

“O foolish milkmaids! you continue to speak without thinking, stay here and I shall set you right

ਕਾਨਹਿ ਸਾਧ ਬਿਨਾ ਅਪਰਾਧਹਿ ਬੋਲਹਿਾਂਗੀ ਜੁ ਭਈ ਕਛੁ ਬਉਰੀ ॥੧੨੮॥

kaaneh saadh binaa aparaadheh bolahiaangee ju bhee kachh bauree |128|

Krishna is very simple, if you will say anything to him without any fault, you will be considered mad.”128.
