ਦੂਸਰ ਨਾਹੀ ਠਾਉ ਕਾ ਪਹਿ ਜਾਈਐ ॥

doosar naahee tthaau kaa peh jaaeeai |

There is no other place at all - where else should I go?

ਆਠ ਪਹਰ ਕਰ ਜੋੜਿ ਸੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਧਿਆਈਐ ॥

aatth pehar kar jorr so prabh dhiaaeeai |

Twenty-four hours a day, with my palms pressed together, I meditate on God.

ਧਿਆਇ ਸੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸਦਾ ਅਪੁਨਾ ਮਨਹਿ ਚਿੰਦਿਆ ਪਾਈਐ ॥

dhiaae so prabh sadaa apunaa maneh chindiaa paaeeai |

Meditating forever on my God, I receive the fruits of my mind's desires.

ਤਜਿ ਮਾਨ ਮੋਹੁ ਵਿਕਾਰੁ ਦੂਜਾ ਏਕ ਸਿਉ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਈਐ ॥

taj maan mohu vikaar doojaa ek siau liv laaeeai |

Renouncing pride, attachment, corruption and duality, I lovingly center my attention on the One Lord.

ਅਰਪਿ ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਗੈ ਆਪੁ ਸਗਲ ਮਿਟਾਈਐ ॥

arap man tan prabhoo aagai aap sagal mittaaeeai |

Dedicate your mind and body to God; eradicate all your self-conceit.

ਬਿਨਵੰਤਿ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਧਾਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਸਾਚਿ ਨਾਮਿ ਸਮਾਈਐ ॥੨॥

binavant naanak dhaar kirapaa saach naam samaaeeai |2|

Prays Nanak, shower me with Your mercy, Lord, that I may be absorbed in Your True Name. ||2||
