ਬਿਸਨਪਦ ॥ ਕਾਫੀ ॥

ਇਕ ਦਿਨ ਬੈਠੇ ਸਭਾ ਬਨਾਈ ॥

eik din baitthe sabhaa banaaee |

ਬਡੇ ਬਡੇ ਛਤ੍ਰੀ ਬਸੁਧਾ ਕੇ ਲੀਨੇ ਨਿਕਟਿ ਬੁਲਾਈ ॥

badde badde chhatree basudhaa ke leene nikatt bulaaee |

One day, the king held his court, wherein he had invited the chief kings of the earth

ਅਰੁ ਜੇ ਹੁਤੇ ਦੇਸ ਦੇਸਨ ਮਤਿ ਤੇ ਭੀ ਸਰਬ ਬੁਲਾਏ ॥

Other people of various countries were also called

ਸੁਨਿ ਇਹ ਭਾਤਿ ਸਰਬ ਜਟਧਾਰੀ ਦੇਸ ਦੇਸ ਤੇ ਆਏ ॥

sun ih bhaat sarab jattadhaaree des des te aae |

All the hermits with matted locks and the Yogic reached there

ਨਾਨਾ ਭਾਤਿ ਜਟਨ ਕਹ ਧਾਰੇ ਅਰੁ ਮੁਖ ਬਿਭੂਤ ਲਗਾਏ ॥

naanaa bhaat jattan keh dhaare ar mukh bibhoot lagaae |

All of them had grown matted locks of various kinds and smeared ashes of their faces

ਬਲਕੁਲ ਅੰਗਿ ਦੀਰਘ ਨਖ ਸੋਭਤ ਮ੍ਰਿਗਪਤਿ ਦੇਖ ਲਜਾਏ ॥

They had worn the ochrecoloured clothes on their limbs seeing their long nails, even the lions were feeling shy

ਮੁੰਦ੍ਰਤ ਨੇਤ੍ਰ ਊਰਧ ਕਰ ਓਪਤ ਪਰਮ ਕਾਛਨੀ ਕਾਛੇ ॥

mundrat netr aooradh kar opat param kaachhanee kaachhe |

They were the performers of Supreme austerities by closing their eyes and raising their hands

ਨਿਸ ਦਿਨ ਜਪ︀ਯੋ ਕਰਤ ਦਤਾਤ੍ਰੈ ਮਹਾ ਮੁਨੀਸਰ ਆਛੇ ॥੯੪॥
