ਮੈ ਨ ਹਸੋ ਹਰਿ ਪਾਸ ਚਲੋ ਨਹੀ ਜਉ ਤੁਹਿ ਸੀ ਸਖੀ ਕੋਟਿਕ ਆਵੈ ॥

mai na haso har paas chalo nahee jau tuhi see sakhee kottik aavai |

“I shall neither smile nor go even if million of friends like you may come

ਆਇ ਉਪਾਵ ਅਨੇਕ ਕਰੈ ਅਰੁ ਪਾਇਨ ਊਪਰ ਸੀਸ ਨਿਆਵੈ ॥

aae upaav anek karai ar paaein aoopar sees niaavai |

Even though friends like you may make many efforts and bow their heads at my feet

ਮੈ ਕਬਹੂ ਨਹੀ ਜਾਉ ਤਹਾ ਤੁਹ ਸੀ ਕਹਿ ਕੋਟਿਕ ਬਾਤ ਬਨਾਵੈ ॥

mai kabahoo nahee jaau tahaa tuh see keh kottik baat banaavai |

“I shall not go there, undoubtedly one may say millions of things

ਅਉਰ ਕੀ ਕਉਨ ਗਨੈ ਗਨਤੀ ਬਲਿ ਆਪਨ ਕਾਨ੍ਰਹ੍ਰਹ ਜੂ ਸੀਸ ਝੁਕਾਵੈ ॥੭੨੦॥
