Fifth Mehl:

ਹਭ ਸਮਾਣੀ ਜੋਤਿ ਜਿਉ ਜਲ ਘਟਾਊ ਚੰਦ੍ਰਮਾ ॥

habh samaanee jot jiau jal ghattaaoo chandramaa |

God's Light is permeating all, like the moon reflected in the water.

ਪਰਗਟੁ ਥੀਆ ਆਪਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਮਸਤਕਿ ਲਿਖਿਆ ॥੨॥

paragatt theea aap naanak masatak likhiaa |2|

He Himself is revealed, O Nanak, to one who has such destiny inscribed upon his forehead. ||2||
