ਜਰਾ ਸਬਦ ਕਹੁ ਮੁਖ ਸੋ ਆਦਿ ਬਖਾਨੀਐ ॥

jaraa sabad kahu mukh so aad bakhaaneeai |

ਰਿਪੁ ਕਹਿ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਪਦ ਬਾਰ ਚਾਰ ਫੁਨ ਠਾਨੀਐ ॥

rip keh nrip pad baar chaar fun tthaaneeai |

ਸਤ੍ਰੁ ਸਬਦ ਕੋ ਤਾ ਕੇ ਅੰਤਿ ਬਖਾਨਿ ਕੈ ॥

satru sabad ko taa ke ant bakhaan kai |

ਹੋ ਸਕਲ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਨਾਮ ਲੀਜੀਐ ਜਾਨਿ ਕੈ ॥੧੨੭੬॥

ho sakal tupak ke naam leejeeai jaan kai |1276|

ਪ੍ਰਿਥਮ ਬ੍ਰਿਧਤਾ ਸਬਦ ਉਚਾਰਨ ਕੀਜੀਐ ॥

ਸਤ੍ਰੁ ਸਬਦ ਕੋ ਤਾ ਕੇ ਅੰਤਿ ਭਨੀਜੀਐ ॥

satru sabad ko taa ke ant bhaneejeeai |

ਬਹੁਰਿ ਸਤ੍ਰੁ ਪਦ ਤਿਹ ਉਪਰੰਤਿ ਬਖਾਨੀਐ ॥

bahur satru pad tih uparant bakhaaneeai |

ਹੋ ਸਕਲ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਨਾਮ ਚਤੁਰ ਚਿਤ ਜਾਨੀਐ ॥੧੨੭੭॥

ho sakal tupak ke naam chatur chit jaaneeai |1277|
