NARAAJ STANZA

ਸੁ ਧਾਰਿ ਮਾਨੁਖੀ ਬਪੁੰ ਸੰਭਾਰਿ ਰਾਮ ਜਾਗਿ ਹੈ ॥

su dhaar maanukhee bapun sanbhaar raam jaag hai |

“You may assume the human form and take up the story of Ram

ਬਿਸਾਰਿ ਸਸਤ੍ਰ ਅਸਤ੍ਰਣੰ ਜੁਝਾਰ ਸਤ੍ਰੁ ਭਾਗਿ ਹੈ ॥

bisaar sasatr asatranan jujhaar satru bhaag hai |

The enemies will run away, abandoning their arms and weapons, before the glory of Ram

ਬਿਚਾਰ ਜੌਨ ਜੌਨ ਭਯੋ ਸੁਧਾਰਿ ਸਰਬ ਭਾਖੀਯੋ ॥

bichaar jauan jauan bhayo sudhaar sarab bhaakheeyo |

ਹਜਾਰ ਕੋਊ ਨ ਕਿਯੋ ਕਰੋ ਬਿਚਾਰਿ ਸਬਦ ਰਾਖੀਯੋ ॥੪੦॥

hajaar koaoo na kiyo karo bichaar sabad raakheeyo |40|

Whatever he will do, reform and describe them and inspire of the though of difficulties present the same in poetry arranging the thoughtful worlds.”40.

ਚਿਤਾਰਿ ਬੈਣ ਵਾਕਿਸੰ ਬਿਚਾਰਿ ਬਾਲਮੀਕ ਭਯੋ ॥

chitaar bain vaakisan bichaar baalameek bhayo |

ਜੁਝਾਰ ਰਾਮਚੰਦ੍ਰ ਕੋ ਬਿਚਾਰ ਚਾਰੁ ਉਚਰ︀ਯੋ ॥

jujhaar raamachandr ko bichaar chaar ucharayo |

Obeying the saying of the Lord, Brahma assumed the form of Valmiki and manifested himself and he composed in poetry the actions performed by Ramchandra, the most powerful one

ਸੁ ਸਪਤ ਕਾਡਣੋ ਕਥ︀ਯੋ ਅਸਕਤ ਲੋਕੁ ਹੁਇ ਰਹ︀ਯੋ ॥

su sapat kaaddano kathayo asakat lok hue rehayo |

ਉਤਾਰ ਚਤ੍ਰਆਨਨੋ ਸੁਧਾਰਿ ਐਸ ਕੈ ਕਹ︀ਯੋ ॥੪੧॥

autaar chatraanano sudhaar ais kai kehayo |41|

He composed in a reformed way the Ramayana, of seven chapters for helpless people.41.
