ਸ︀ਯਾਨੀ ਸਖੀ ਸਮਝ ਸਭ ਗਈ ॥

sayaanee sakhee samajh sabh gee |

ਦਰਿਯਾ ਖਾ ਕੇ ਜਾਤ ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਭਈ ॥

dariyaa khaa ke jaat grih bhee |

The wise maid understood everything and went to the house of Dariya Khan.

ਗੋਸੇ ਬੈਠਿ ਸੁ ਮੰਤ੍ਰ ਬਤਾਯੋ ॥

gose baitth su mantr bataayo |

ਤਵ ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਮੈ ਬੇਗਮਹਿ ਪਠਾਯੋ ॥੮॥

tav grih mai begameh patthaayo |8|

She sat down with him in seclusion and told that the Rani had sent her.(8)
