ਰਾਮਕਲੀ ਪਾਤਿਸਾਹੀ ੧੦ ॥

RAMKALI OF THE TENTH KING

ਪ੍ਰਾਨੀ ਪਰਮ ਪੁਰਖ ਪਗ ਲਾਗੋ ॥

praanee param purakh pag laago |

O Man! fall at the feet of the supreme Purusha,

ਸੋਵਤ ਕਹਾ ਮੋਹ ਨਿੰਦ੍ਰਾ ਮੈ ਕਬਹੂੰ ਸੁਚਿਤ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਜਾਗੋ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

sovat kahaa moh nindraa mai kabahoon suchit hvai jaago |1| rahaau |

Why are you sleeping in worldly attachment, awake sometimes and be vigilant ?.....Pause.

ਔਰਨ ਕਹਾ ਉਪਦੇਸਤ ਹੈ ਪਸੁ ਤੋਹਿ ਪ੍ਰਬੋਧ ਨ ਲਾਗੋ ॥

aauaran kahaa upadesat hai pas tohi prabodh na laago |

O Animal! why do you preach to others, when you are quite ignorant

ਸਿੰਚਤ ਕਹਾ ਪਰੇ ਬਿਖਿਯਨ ਕਹ ਕਬਹੁ ਬਿਖੈ ਰਸ ਤ︀ਯਾਗੋ ॥੧॥

sinchat kahaa pare bikhiyan keh kabahu bikhai ras tayaago |1|

Why are you gathering the sins ? Forsake sometimes the poisonous enjoyment.1.

ਕੇਵਲ ਕਰਮ ਭਰਮ ਸੇ ਚੀਨਹੁ ਧਰਮ ਕਰਮ ਅਨੁਰਾਗੋ ॥

keval karam bharam se cheenahu dharam karam anuraago |

Consider these actions as illusions and devote yourself to righteous actions,

ਸੰਗ੍ਰਹ ਕਰੋ ਸਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਕੋ ਪਰਮ ਪਾਪ ਤਜਿ ਭਾਗੋ ॥੨॥

sangrah karo sadaa simaran ko param paap taj bhaago |2|

Absorb yourself in the remembrance of the name of the Lord and abandon and run away from sins.2.

ਜਾ ਤੇ ਦੂਖ ਪਾਪ ਨਹਿ ਭੇਟੈ ਕਾਲ ਜਾਲ ਤੇ ਤਾਗੋ ॥

jaa te dookh paap neh bhettai kaal jaal te taago |

So that the sorrows and sins do not afflict you and you may escape the trap of death

ਜੌ ਸੁਖ ਚਾਹੋ ਸਦਾ ਸਭਨ ਕੌ ਤੌ ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਰਸ ਪਾਗੋ ॥੩॥੩॥੩॥

jau sukh chaaho sadaa sabhan kau tau har ke ras paago |3|3|3|

If you want to enjoy all comforts, then absorb yourself in the love of the Lord.3.3.
