Bilaaval, Fifth Mehl:

ਮੀਤ ਹਮਾਰੇ ਸਾਜਨਾ ਰਾਖੇ ਗੋਵਿੰਦ ॥

meet hamaare saajanaa raakhe govind |

The Lord of the Universe has saved my friends and companions.

ਨਿੰਦਕ ਮਿਰਤਕ ਹੋਇ ਗਏ ਤੁਮੑ ਹੋਹੁ ਨਿਚਿੰਦ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

nindak miratak hoe ge tuma hohu nichind |1| rahaau |

The slanderers have died, so do not worry. ||1||Pause||

ਸਗਲ ਮਨੋਰਥ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਕੀਏ ਭੇਟੇ ਗੁਰਦੇਵ ॥

sagal manorath prabh kee bhette guradev |

God has fulfilled all hopes and desires; I have met the Divine Guru.

ਜੈ ਜੈ ਕਾਰੁ ਜਗਤ ਮਹਿ ਸਫਲ ਜਾ ਕੀ ਸੇਵ ॥੧॥

jai jai kaar jagat meh safal jaa kee sev |1|

God is celebrated and acclaimed all over the world; it is fruitful and rewarding to serve Him. ||1||

ਊਚ ਅਪਾਰ ਅਗਨਤ ਹਰਿ ਸਭਿ ਜੀਅ ਜਿਸੁ ਹਾਥਿ ॥

aooch apaar aganat har sabh jeea jis haath |

Lofty, infinite and immeasurable is the Lord; all beings are in His Hands.

ਨਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸਰਣਾਗਤੀ ਜਤ ਕਤ ਮੇਰੈ ਸਾਥਿ ॥੨॥੧੦॥੭੪॥

naanak prabh saranaagatee jat kat merai saath |2|10|74|

Nanak has entered the Sanctuary of God; He is with me everywhere. ||2||10||74||
