ਸਚੁ ਨਾਉ ਕਰਤਾਰੁ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਪਾਈਐ ।

sach naau karataar guramukh paaeeai |

The true name of the creator Lord is received from the gurmukhs,

ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਓਅੰਕਾਰ ਸਬਦਿ ਧਿਆਈਐ ।

guramukh oankaar sabad dhiaaeeai |

Amidst the gurmukhs the Oankar Word is remembered.

ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਸਬਦੁ ਵੀਚਾਰੁ ਸਦਾ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਈਐ ।

guramukh sabad veechaar sadaa liv laaeeai |

Amid the gurmukhs the word is pondered upon and the consciousness is merged in it,

ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਸਚੁ ਅਚਾਰੁ ਸਚੁ ਕਮਾਈਐ ।

guramukh sach achaar sach kamaaeeai |

Living the truthful life of the gurmukhs, the truth is accomplished in life.

ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਮੋਖ ਦੁਆਰੁ ਸਹਜਿ ਸਮਾਈਐ ।

guramukh mokh duaar sehaj samaaeeai |

Gurmukh is that door of liberation through which one automatically enters his innate nature (the divine self).

ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਅਧਾਰੁ ਨ ਪਛੋਤਾਈਐ ।੧੬।

guramukh naam adhaar na pachhotaaeeai |16|

He base of name (of the Lord) is attained from gurmukhs and one does not repent in the end.
