Sorat'h, Fifth Mehl:

ਗੁਰੁ ਪੂਰਾ ਨਮਸਕਾਰੇ ॥

gur pooraa namasakaare |

I bow in reverence to the Perfect Guru.

ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਸਭੇ ਕਾਜ ਸਵਾਰੇ ॥

prabh sabhe kaaj savaare |

God has resolved all my affairs.

ਹਰਿ ਅਪਣੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਧਾਰੀ ॥

har apanee kirapaa dhaaree |

The Lord has showered me with His Mercy.

ਪ੍ਰਭ ਪੂਰਨ ਪੈਜ ਸਵਾਰੀ ॥੧॥

prabh pooran paij savaaree |1|

God has perfectly preserved my honor. ||1||

ਅਪਨੇ ਦਾਸ ਕੋ ਭਇਓ ਸਹਾਈ ॥

apane daas ko bheo sahaaee |

He has become the help and support of His slave.

ਸਗਲ ਮਨੋਰਥ ਕੀਨੇ ਕਰਤੈ ਊਣੀ ਬਾਤ ਨ ਕਾਈ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

sagal manorath keene karatai aoonee baat na kaaee | rahaau |

The Creator has achieved all my goals, and now, nothing is lacking. ||Pause||

ਕਰਤੈ ਪੁਰਖਿ ਤਾਲੁ ਦਿਵਾਇਆ ॥

karatai purakh taal divaaeaa |

The Creator Lord has caused the pool of nectar to be constructed.

ਪਿਛੈ ਲਗਿ ਚਲੀ ਮਾਇਆ ॥

pichhai lag chalee maaeaa |

The wealth of Maya follows in my footsteps,

ਤੋਟਿ ਨ ਕਤਹੂ ਆਵੈ ॥

tott na katahoo aavai |

and now, nothing is lacking at all.

ਮੇਰੇ ਪੂਰੇ ਸਤਗੁਰ ਭਾਵੈ ॥੨॥

mere poore satagur bhaavai |2|

This is pleasing to my Perfect True Guru. ||2||

ਸਿਮਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਦਇਆਲਾ ॥

simar simar deaalaa |

Remembering, remembering the Merciful Lord in meditation,

ਸਭਿ ਜੀਅ ਭਏ ਕਿਰਪਾਲਾ ॥

sabh jeea bhe kirapaalaa |

all beings have become kind and compassionate to me.

ਜੈ ਜੈ ਕਾਰੁ ਗੁਸਾਈ ॥

jai jai kaar gusaaee |

Hail! Hail to the Lord of the world,

ਜਿਨਿ ਪੂਰੀ ਬਣਤ ਬਣਾਈ ॥੩॥

jin pooree banat banaaee |3|

who created the perfect creation. ||3||

ਤੂ ਭਾਰੋ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਮੋਰਾ ॥

too bhaaro suaamee moraa |

You are my Great Lord and Master.

ਇਹੁ ਪੁੰਨੁ ਪਦਾਰਥੁ ਤੇਰਾ ॥

eihu pun padaarath teraa |

These blessings and wealth are Yours.

ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਏਕੁ ਧਿਆਇਆ ॥

jan naanak ek dhiaaeaa |

Servant Nanak has meditated on the One Lord;

ਸਰਬ ਫਲਾ ਪੁੰਨੁ ਪਾਇਆ ॥੪॥੧੪॥੬੪॥

sarab falaa pun paaeaa |4|14|64|

he has obtained the fruitful rewards for all good deeds. ||4||14||64||
