ਚਲਿਯੋ ਧਾਰਿ ਆਤੀਤ ਕੋ ਭੇਸ ਰਾਈ ॥

chaliyo dhaar aateet ko bhes raaee |

ਮਨਾਪਨ ਬਿਖੈ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਭਗੌਤੀ ਮਨਾਈ ॥

manaapan bikhai sree bhagauatee manaaee |

The Raja put on the garb of an ascetic, meditating on Bhagwati, the goddess, commenced his journey.

ਚਲਿਯੋ ਸੋਤ ਤਾ ਕੇ ਫਿਰਿਯੋ ਨਾਹਿ ਫੇਰੇ ॥

chaliyo sot taa ke firiyo naeh fere |

ਧਸ੍ਰਯੋ ਜਾਇ ਕੈ ਵਾ ਤ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਕੇ ਸੁ ਡੇਰੇ ॥੧੦॥

dhasrayo jaae kai vaa triyaa ke su ddere |10|
