ਕਾਨ੍ਰਹ ਬਾਚ ਕਾਲੀ ਸੋ ॥

Speech of Krishna addressed to the family of the serpent Kali:

ਸਵੈਯਾ ॥

SWAYYA

ਬੋਲਿ ਉਠਿਓ ਤਬ ਇਉ ਹਰਿ ਜੀ ਅਬ ਛਾਡਤ ਹਉ ਤੁਮ ਦਛਨਿ ਜਈਯੋ ॥

bol utthio tab iau har jee ab chhaaddat hau tum dachhan jeeyo |

Then Krishna said, “Now I release you all, you go away towards the south

ਰੰਚਕ ਨ ਬਸੀਯੋ ਸਰ ਮੈ ਸਭ ਹੀ ਸੁਤ ਲੈ ਸੰਗ ਬਾਟਹਿ ਪਈਯੋ ॥

ranchak na baseeyo sar mai sabh hee sut lai sang baatteh peeyo |

Do not abide ever in this pool, all of you may go away now alongwith your children.

ਸੀਘ੍ਰਤਾ ਐਸੀ ਕਰੋ ਤੁਮ ਹੂੰ ਤਿਰੀਆ ਲਈਯੋ ਅਰੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਸੁ ਲਈਯੋ ॥

seeghrataa aisee karo tum hoon tireea leeyo ar naam su leeyo |

“All of you, taking your women with you leave immediately and remember the name of the Lord.”

ਛੋਡਿ ਦਯੋ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਗ ਬਡੋ ਥਕਿ ਜਾਇ ਕੈ ਮਧਿ ਬਰੇਤਨ ਪਈਯੋ ॥੨੧੭॥

chhodd dayo har naag baddo thak jaae kai madh baretan peeyo |217|

In this way, Krishna released Kali and being tired he lay down on the sand.217.
