Aasaa, Fifth Mehl, Dho-Padhay:

ਗੁਰ ਪਰਸਾਦਿ ਮੇਰੈ ਮਨਿ ਵਸਿਆ ਜੋ ਮਾਗਉ ਸੋ ਪਾਵਉ ਰੇ ॥

gur parasaad merai man vasiaa jo maagau so paavau re |

By Guru's Grace, He dwells within my mind; whatever I ask for, I receive.

ਨਾਮ ਰੰਗਿ ਇਹੁ ਮਨੁ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤਾਨਾ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਨ ਕਤਹੂੰ ਧਾਵਉ ਰੇ ॥੧॥

naam rang ihu man tripataanaa bahur na katahoon dhaavau re |1|

This mind is satisfied with the Love of the Naam, the Name of the Lord; it does not go out, anywhere, anymore. ||1||

ਹਮਰਾ ਠਾਕੁਰੁ ਸਭ ਤੇ ਊਚਾ ਰੈਣਿ ਦਿਨਸੁ ਤਿਸੁ ਗਾਵਉ ਰੇ ॥

hamaraa tthaakur sabh te aoochaa rain dinas tis gaavau re |

My Lord and Master is the highest of all; night and day, I sing the Glories of His Praises.

ਖਿਨ ਮਹਿ ਥਾਪਿ ਉਥਾਪਨਹਾਰਾ ਤਿਸ ਤੇ ਤੁਝਹਿ ਡਰਾਵਉ ਰੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

khin meh thaap uthaapanahaaraa tis te tujheh ddaraavau re |1| rahaau |

In an instant, He establishes and disestablishes; through Him, I frighten you. ||1||Pause||

ਜਬ ਦੇਖਉ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਅਪੁਨਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਤਉ ਅਵਰਹਿ ਚੀਤਿ ਨ ਪਾਵਉ ਰੇ ॥

jab dekhau prabh apunaa suaamee tau avareh cheet na paavau re |

When I behold my God, my Lord and Master, I do not pay any attention to any other.

ਨਾਨਕੁ ਦਾਸੁ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਆਪਿ ਪਹਿਰਾਇਆ ਭ੍ਰਮੁ ਭਉ ਮੇਟਿ ਲਿਖਾਵਉ ਰੇ ॥੨॥੨॥੧੩੧॥

naanak daas prabh aap pahiraaeaa bhram bhau mett likhaavau re |2|2|131|

God Himself has adorned servant Nanak; his doubts and fears have been dispelled, and he writes the account of the Lord. ||2||2||131||
