ਅਘ ਨਾਸੀ ਆਤਮ ਅਭੁਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਭੁਲੈ ਭੁਲਾਇਆ ।

agh naasee aatam abhul naheen bhulai bhulaaeaa |

The vices, He obliterates, and the oblivious one can forget Him not.

ਹਰਿ ਅਲਖ ਅਕਾਲ ਅਡੋਲ ਹੈ ਗੁਰੁ ਸਬਦਿ ਲਖਾਇਆ ।

har alakh akaal addol hai gur sabad lakhaaeaa |

Har, the all knowing Timeless, is unperturbable but can be experienced through the Guru's Word.

ਸਰਬ ਬਿਆਪੀ ਹੈ ਅਲੇਪ ਜਿਸੁ ਲਗੈ ਨ ਮਾਇਆ ।

sarab biaapee hai alep jis lagai na maaeaa |

He is omnipresent but non-aligned, and the illusion attracts Him not.

ਹਰਿ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਨਾਮ ਧਿਆਈਐ ਜਿਤੁ ਲੰਘੈ ਵਹੇਲਾ ।

har guramukh naam dhiaaeeai jit langhai vahelaa |

The Gurmukh converges on the Naam and conveniently swims across the mundane sea.
